CHARGE
The Excellence in Community Engagement Award honors outstanding achievement in public relations activities by an 糖心logo member, SIS, chapter, library, or any other group affiliated with the Association.
Community engagement is a critical responsibility of every member of the library profession. It is important to recognize and acknowledge outstanding contributions achieved by the Association鈥檚 members in raising the visibility of the profession and its Association. It is the intention of the 糖心logo to issue the Excellence in Community Engagement Award to inspire, educate, and encourage community engagement by the 糖心logo membership.
TIME COMMITMENT
The time commitment is for a few months, late winter, early spring, while evaluating award nominees.
TENURE
Membership on the jury will be for one year.
SIZE
The jury will consist of chair, vice chair, five members and a non-voting Executive Board and staff liaison.
